Junior Aegon Team Tennis
The NJCL is divided into age groups under 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18, and is the largest league competition in Great Britain with 2750 teams drawn from all 44 counties for singles and doubles. The top county Division-1 teams go forward to the county and regional plays-offs, from which the last four boys' and four girls' teams in each age group advance to the national finals. Please click here to download the official NJCL web page, which contains further information on the league and links to previous results, etc.
Each year the Bourne Club endeavours to enter as many age-group competitions as possible. This major junior event is designed for the higher-level juniors who are drawn from our junior performance squads.

Internal Adult Tennis Leagues
The tennis section runs the following leagues and ladders for members –
Mixed Singles Box-League
Ladies Doubles Box-League
Men’s Doubles Ladder
Mixed Doubles Ladder
All these are friendly but competitive, and very popular with our members.
The box-leagues are separated into divisions of 4 players in the singles league or 4 pairs in the doubles league, where each player or pair play three other players or pairs. These run over a 6-week period on average and after each one the winner of each box-league division goes up into the next division.
The newly implemented ladders are simple ladders of pairs in ranking order. Each pair may challenge another pair up to three places above them and if they win they go one place above the other pair.
Any member wishing to participate may enter their names on the entry sheet on the notice board and anyone wanting a partner for the doubles can enlist the help of the league or ladder organiser.
